Lockdown mental health.

It was March last year when we had the first lockdown, people in the LGBT community might be taking social isolation very hard - as well as everyone else. Many LGBT people live alone, both young and old. Therefore social isolation would be very difficult at they don't have family or loved ones with them to help.

Please please please, check in with each other over text, phone, facetime or zoom etc. Make sure everyone is ok, and keep up those social connections. We regularly have FaceTime or zoom chats with friends or family to catchup and check in with each other. Often we do this on a Friday or Saturday night, so can have a drink and chin wag.

So, don't forget that we have fantastic technology to help us see/hear each other and keep in touch. If you know anyone who lives alone send them a text, speak to them on the phone, face time or Skype. Or, if you live alone reach out to your friend or family to connect and spend a few hours. Hope this help - and stay safe xxx
